The home is the most common location where children are
injured. Kidsafe WA with the support of the Department of Health
are expanding our services to ensure the sharing of consistent
child safety messages across various cultures, communities and
professionals.
This has lead to:
- Introduction of four new fact sheets that link to injury concerns
by stage of child development
- Translation of Key Kidsafe WA fact sheets into other languages
- Development of the Home Safety Community Action Kit:
A guide for Health Professionals and Community Groups
- Distribution of Injury Prevention in the Home and Baby’s first
year DVD’s (All produced by Kidsafe NSW)
- Development of Partnerships with Public Housing Authorities
The above publications can be ordered from the Kidsafe shop
