Kidsafe WA works with the whole community to promote safety in order to prevent childhood injuries and accidents in Western Australia. Professionals play a key role in supporting Kidsafe WA to achieve this goal. For professionals we offer a range initiatives and activities to support your work:

  • Research – specifically data and research reports, qualitative and attitudinal research.
  • Education – specifically workshops and training, professional development, school incursions, regional visits, publications and digital resources and our child car restraint fitting, checking and hire services.
  • Advocacy – specifically Australian Standards committee representation, advocacy networks and playground audits and inspections.

The ‘How We Can Help’ section includes the services Kidsafe WA offers for Primary and Early Childhood Educators, Local Government, Child and Allied Health Professionals as well as our training and workshops.

The ‘Resource’ section contains professional specific resources including the WA Childhood Injury Surveillance Bulletins and Reports, current research, Safety in Schools program and Facilitators guides.
