Welcome to Research and Injury Surveillance

Kidsafe WA has conducted a number of specialised research projects relating to child injury prevention. We also established the first child injury surveillance system at Princess Margaret Hospital in 1986, and have been producing quarterly Injury Surveillance reports from the data colleted since 2004. Copies of the Annual reports produced from the PMH Injury Surveillance Data for 1987 to 1991; and then for 2005 to present are also available.

This section also provides links to other relevant child injury prevention data and research reports, however if you are a child health professional you may prefer to become a member of our professional section for a more comprehensive selection.
