Safety Demonstration House

The Kidsafe WA Resource Centre consists of the Child Safety Information Line and the Safety Demonstration House, and is located at our office at 140 Railway Parade, West Leederville 6007. .

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm
Please contact us on the child safety information line 1800 802 244 if you would like information on keeping children safe at home, at play and on the road.

The Kidsafe WA Safety Demonstration House mirrors a typical family home demonstrating best practice safety measures to protect children. It highlights points of potential injury in the home and methods of injury prevention through the use of photographic displays and physical examples of household items with child safety features.

The house is available to tour for individuals as well as school groups, parent groups, professionals and anyone interested in child safety. We also provide an activity sheet for student groups, and a self-guided tour for all other visitors. Please note groups are required to make a booking.

Cost: A gold coin donation.
