The Seasonal Childhood Injury Prevention Program is run by Kidsafe WA with the support of the Department of Health. Each year child injury prevention messages are linked to eachseason to enable a coordinated approach for addressing multiplechild injury issues.
The leading causes of child death is Drowning, and the mostcommon injuries resulting in hospital admission are Falls,Poisoning and Burns/Scalds, which are the primary focuses ofthe seasonal campaigns.

The Winter Campaign will run from
1st June to 31st August
The Spring Campaign will run from
1st September to 30th November
