Welcome to Road Safety

The Road Safety Section looks at Programs and Information on keeping children safe in the car and on the road. Transport related injuries to children are one of the leading causes of hospital admission. Approximately 200 children present annually at Princess Margaret Hospital as a result of a road traffic injury.

Kidsafe WA is one of the key partners for delivering the Smart Steps program which is an initiative of School Drug Education and Road Aware.
